I have a confession - I am OBSESSED with all things mercury glass.  I would say my obsession started with my wedding a couple years ago and I'm always trying to incorporate it into my apartment decor.  The only issue with mercury glass is that it's expensive!!

Rustic Maine Wedding at Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park

Traveling up to Freeport, Maine for one of our favorite couple's wedding will be my highlight of the summer.  I always tell Jon whenever we visit Maine that I want to move there!  I just think that the people of Maine do it right - every seaside town has its own personality!  They have fantastic food and really friendly people.  Jon is quick to remind me that I would drive him nuts in the winter - but until then, I'll just keep pinning my dream home in Kennebunkport.

Jon's cousin, Katelyn, always has effortless syle and sophistication.  It didn't surprise me at all that she could turn the one of the oldest barns in America into a gorgeous location for  wedding.  

They had an incredibly talented photographer, MKD Photography, to capture their special day.  As a bonus, they even had a slide show of their pictures at the reception!  I've been to a few weddings lately that have done this and it is a HUGE hit.  I would definitely recommend asking your photographer if that's a possibility.

Wedding Gift Bags Your Guests Will Love

I love recieving wedding gift bags at the hotel.  There's no better way to show hospitality to your guests for traveling a long way for your special day.  However, whenever I see the magazines with inspiration it all looks really expensive!  Let's face it, by the guest bag stage of planning, there's not a ton of funds left for most brides!  My sister in-law Jenn always thinks of everything and I thought she hit her guest bags out of the park!
